Tay-ka Chanz,
(pronounced “take-a-chance”)
with Miguel and Louisa at the helm,
grew out of their desire to combine
their experiences and styles of
music. Each from their own “Souths”
(South America and Southern
America), their own musical journeys
have crossed paths and have
reached an understanding that music
is an expression of feelings and
emotions that has no boundaries.

Tay-ka Chanz has combined musical styles from blues to Latin jazz, from Brazilian
rhythms to the Beatles, and from old standards to popular tunes of today. Each
tune played in it’s own Tay-ka Chanz way.
It may be challenging to categorize or label what they do, but they decided to call
it “A ja-blue-zzy latin kinda pop thing” c.
